The main aim of the dentists working in our surgery is to reserve the teeth but in the case of certain patients the extraction of a tooth is the only possible way of treatment.
In our surgery, we do local anesthesia with a medicine called Ultracain with the substance articain, instead of the least modern lidocain. The great advantage of this medicine is that it has a faster effect (1-3 minutes), it is a strong pain-killer, it does not irritate tissues, and its minimal time of efficiency is 75 minutes. It can safely be used in case of pregnancy (it does not hurt the embryo, it is not excreted in the mother's milk) or at patients suffering from heart and vascular diseases, or in case of diabetes as well. Of course this medicine means a solution for lidocain-sensitive patients too.
· In case of abnormal growth of teeth or dental arches we apply removable or fix braces.
· After meals the leftover of the meal dissolves in saliva and it settles on the surface of the tooth.
This is called plaque.
